Our language school is designed for adult students who want to learn or improve their English in a welcoming and engaging environment. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, ranging from their mid-20s to well into their 60s, all sharing a passion for language and cultural exchange. While many of our students come from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, we also welcome learners from Spain, France, Italy, and beyond.

Learning doesn’t stop in the classroom: Our students can choose from a variety of afternoon experiences, from cultural excursions and outdoor activities to creative workshops and social events.
Whether you’re looking to refine your English skills, meet like-minded people, or explore the beauty of Cornwall, we offer a flexible and enriching experience tailored to your interests.

“We expected tough learning sessions and we received intensive coaching: Skool is different, St. Agnes too. And in its combination it is perfect. Skool is a consequent privately focused institution. St. Agnes is a place that calms you down and focuses you on the basics. We took with us a fruitful and long-lasting experience. So what is the secret about Toby and his Skool? Toby gets what you need and serves you individualised sessions. He takes away the fear just to talk and gives you confidence in your standing. His classes vary from two to a maximum of 6 students to secure his quality ambition. He spends a lot of time also beside the regular units together with you to get to know you better and offers you professional insight into Cornwall ́s sphere. Take the chance and accept his afternoon options.
It is heavily recommended: Learning in the morning and practising in the afternoon. The range of Skool ́s offers/program is well-balanced and should suit a lot of interests. And we would like to make a second recommendation: Go for two weeks. It is worth the time.”

the landscapes, my schoolmates, the teachers, the host. Learning English and having fun.
It was like a gear wheel working perfectly. I felt a lot of peace.”

We were able to improve our oral skills very well, which was our main goal. We enjoyed the afternoon activities and St. Agnes is very pretty and cosy.
The silence and nature were so relaxing. We can highly recommend this language stay.”

Ricarda, 48 years old, Germany
“It was an incredibly beautiful week in Cornwall. I was completely overwhelmed by the beautiful surroundings and nature. The school and especially the team were great and entertaining. Due to the small groups, the learning effect is very great. We had a very nice student group and especially the afternoons with interesting conversations and beautiful walks will remain in my memory for a long time.
An absolute recommendation to improve your English skills in a beautiful environment and with a great team.
