Host families offer continued opportunity to improve your English conversation. All of our homestays include a single room, breakfast and evening meal. All homestay accommodation is within walking distance of our classroom.
There is a wide range of alternative accommodation including hotels, B&Bs, and self-catering should homestay not suit your purposes. Further information can be found at visitstagnes.com/stay/.
* The price of host family accommodation includes 7 nights, if your stay is longer – you will be charged £65 extra per night.
TERMS ANS CONDITIONS
ENROLMENT PROCEDURE
- Complete the Enrolment form and email to [email protected], we will then issue you with an invoice.
- £250 deposit is required to confirm your course. Once that is paid, we will then issue you with a letter of acceptance. We cannot confirm the enrolment until we have received the deposit.
- The balance of the outstanding monies is payable 14 days prior to the start of your language course.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment terms apply to all students, unless booking through a third-party representative – please clarify with your agent if in doubt.
- The outstanding balance of your course is required to be paid in school no later than 14 days before first day of your course. Skool Cornwall reserves the right to refuse your enrolment.
- If accepted, a £250 deposit is required, this deposit is non-refundable. However, you are entitled to a 14 day cooling off period from the date you pay.
PAYMENT
- Bank Transfer – our preferred payment method. Our bank details are clearly written on our invoice. Please ensure you have the correct details. When transferring payments please note that you are responsible for paying bank charges.
- Credit Cards – you can pay with a credit card. Please follow the instructions on the invoice. Please note there will be an extra charge for the use of credit cards.
LIABILITIES
- If, for any reason, you have to stop your course early, your tuition fees are non-refundable.
- Skool Cornwall is not liable for loss of tuition or services caused by factors outside our control.
- We reserve the right to ask you to leave Skool Cornwall without refunding the tuition fees in the event of misconduct or criminal behaviour.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
- Students who are not from the European economic area have to pay for non-emergency medical treatment. If you are from the EEA you must bring your EHIC (European health insurance card) with you.
- We recommend that you take out travel and medical insurance before you leave home. Have insurance will cover things like loss of fees and flights in case of cancellation or curtailment, medical expenses, personal injury, personal liability, overseas legal expenses, and the loss of personal belongings and money.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE/ TRANSFERS*
There are a number of ways that you can access St Agnes and Cornwall:
- Commercial flights to all UK airports are readily available. Students may wish to fly directly to Bristol, Exeter and Newquay. Please see airport transfer detailed below.
- There are also regular train links from London Paddington to Truro.
