English with Art and Culture
Improve your English while discovering Cornwall’s Art & Culture.
Course overview
Our English with Art and Culture course combines morning language lessons with exploring Cornwall’s rich culture and history in the afternoon.
Cornwall is a place full of beauty, fascinating stories, and incredible art. Each afternoon, we’ll take you on a journey, tailored to the weather, the season, and what the group is most interested in.
It is no surprise that many artists chose to settle here — the light, landscape, and atmosphere continue to inspire creativity to this day. Whether it’s visiting historic landmarks, exploring local art galleries, or discovering hidden spots that most tourists miss, you’ll be practicing English in the real world.
What to expect
Each day is split between learning and exploring:
Morning: English lessons tailored to your level
Afternoon: Visiting Cornwall's beautiful gardens, manor houses, galleries and museums.
Our visits include:
-
Exploring Cornwall’s outstanding gardens, such as the lush subtropical Trebah Garden or Trerice, a historic Tudor manor with beautifully preserved grounds
-
Visiting renowned galleries including Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum, where you’ll discover how Cornwall inspired generations of artists
-
Discovering West Cornwall, home to the iconic open-air Minack Theatre, dramatically set on the cliffs above the Atlantic
Each visit is guided by experienced guides and tailored to the weather, ensuring that no matter the conditions, you can fully enjoy Cornwall’s art, history, and culture.
